Suki Sahota Director of Permanent Recruitment
Having gained over 14 years Central London recruitment experience, and with just over 10 years of that with Headway, Suki prides herself on her contribution to the success and development of the organisation from the fledgling company she joined, to the major player it is in the current market place.
Her client base has developed over the years to include many FTSE organisations but she is just as keen to deal with the smaller, independent companies, as she has always felt that each client deserves the same level of service, regardless of the size of the balance sheet!
Equally no role has been too large or small for her, and she throws herself with great gusto into finding the right person for each role, matching both organisations to people but also people to organisations! Indeed, one candidate is still in the role she placed her at 11 years ago.
She is just as comfortable interviewing the recent graduate/school leaver to the experienced Director, she can offer support and career advice to all, and often has been the difference to that offer or rejection!
Because of the time she dedicates to her candidates and the relationships she has formed over the years in the industry, referrals/recommendations are a regular source of business for her but its not something she takes for granted and therefore she will continue to strive for perfection in everything that she does.
She brings to the recruitment process, her own unique brand of style, and clients and candidates alike have commented that she makes a refreshing change to work with.
She loves a good laugh (especially at her own jokes!), enjoys singing to herself (albeit badly!) and can cook a mean curry (a general consensus amongst friends!!).
Katie Kenniford Director of Temporary Recruitment
Katie joined Headway in 1998 beginning her career as a Commercial Recruitment Consultant. Katie's drive, passion and commitment have resulted in her progression to the role of Director of Temporaries Division and Co-owner in the business. Katie's personable approach ensures she receives 100% commitment from her candidates. Over the years she has built up a large, high calibre pool of professional career temps allowing her to perfectly match candidates to the varied roles required by her clients.
During her 11-year career Katie has developed a diverse and hugely successful portfolio of clients ranging from small independent organisations through to large Blue chip companies. One of her key strengths is in developing excellent long-term relationships with her clients focusing on their individual needs.
Katie prides herself on her track record of successfully placing executive level PAs and team secretaries through to front of house reception and customer service advisers. Candidates are available for both long and short-term assignments as well as contract positions. Katie's expertise in this area is demonstrated by the ongoing repeat business she has with her clients and the loyalty demonstrated by her candidates.
Katie is determined to build on her current success continuing to exceed the expectations of her clients and candidates. Her professional, friendly and respectful attitude ensures both of these customer groups receive an outstanding and refreshingly personal service.
In her spare time, Katie is an active gym bunny but this is where her competitive streak shows, often racing her neighbours on the running machines. Another ambition is to achieve a superstar "SingStar" status, but this may take a while.
Chris Wickes Senior Consultant
Chris joined Headway in 2007 and was hired to manage one of Headway's largest corporate accounts. From running group assessments to placing over 30 candidates per week, Chris' success led to him being promoted to a fully fledged Consultant.
Developing a commercial desk from scratch, Chris has developed his client base ranging from small boutique companies to one of the world's leading health organisations. Priding himself on recruiting across all levels, including high volume recruitment, no task is too small nor too large to tackle.
Through hard work and determination Chris was promoted to Senior Consultant at the beginning of 2009 and is very much looking forward to developing his career with Headway further and building on Headway's already strong reputation in the industry.
Priding himself on client and candidate relationships, Chris will always go that extra mile to ensure that both parties come back to him time after time.
Chris has already run the London Marathon once in 2007 and is hoping to take part again in the future in order to beat his personal best. His other interests include pub quizzes, gourmet cuisine and Tottenham Hotspurs.
